Yet another rescue mission saving stranded tourists from Tintern. The driver was very friendly, and even did his best to drive us to somewhere currently impossible to reach due to building works. Price was as quoted over the phone and the taxi arrived quicker than estimated. Perfect!

I used Abbey Taxis during an exceptionally busy weekend as I had a wedding to photograph near Tintern. They were available at very short notice to take me from Chepstow. I then booked a return trip all the way to Newport after the wedding at 10pm. Patrick was there early to pick me up, which really put my mind at ease as I would otherwise have been stranded. He was friendly, chatty, and nothing was too much trouble. I highly recommend!

Like a few others, I got caught out in Tintern by the local bus service who are still running an "emergency covid timetable" despite no mention of this at the bus stops. Patrick was super quick at collecting me and my 4yo and taking us to Chepstow train station. He even stopped at a ATM for me to withdraw cash for the unexpected journey. Very professional and friendly and helped put my mind at ease after potentially being stranded. Would very much recommend 😃 Excellent service.

Main road closed from Tintern to Chepstow, fantastic alternative to bus. Abbey taxi driver (did not get his name) gave us a great history tour through the back road to Tintern Abbey. Very reasonable rate compared to to home prices in Notts.
