Absolutely disgusting. Booked a taxi for 7.40 this morning, rang at 7.45 to ask where my taxi was to be told it's on its way. 10 minutes later rang again and told the operator I would now be late for work. He then said there were no cars available, so lied to me on the first call. I told him I had booked it the night before to which he replied 'So?'. I explained that I have keys to the building where I work and the rest of the staff would be waiting for me to open and he proceeded to hang up the phone. Absolutely appalling customer service. It's a wonder this man still has a job. Will never be using them again as this happens a lot.

Order cab via the App ot with a phone call. I book taxis always in good time, for an eleven thirty pick up I will book it at 07.30 hrs or night before. Was getting five, ten, twenty & even more taxis being accepted, then arriving late or very late. I began thinking all Taxis are the same. I saw this firm locally advertised & thought, 'why not try' - so did & still using. Promptness is a benefit, they need to blow there own trumpets as I think being prompt is a unique selling point which benefits customers. Reception staff are excellent, friendly & give me confidence my taxi will arrive. Drivers are accommodating & really make you welcome & relaxed using their cars. Acacia Taxis is a name in my town for 40 years that I know of, possibly more. Use with confidence & you can pay by card if cash is a problem.

Shocking company. Booked taxis well in advance and do not turn up. Just excuse after excuse and then hang up. If you want a dependable, customer friendly experience, DO NOT USE!!

I booked a taxi for 10:30 pm pick up at Ulverston, 4 days ahead of an event. I got a confirmation text. On the night no one showed up, when I rang I was told they don’t cover Ulverston and their staff don’t listen to them and just take the bookings anyway. Why did no one cancel or call? I was left stranded. Irresponsible owners / managers. Not funny, will report to council. Avoid. Ps - there were several other folks in the same situation so this wasn’t an isolated incident.

End of the day. Too many drivers willing to say they turned up. Then blame the customer because they cba turning up on a busy event.
