We really wanted to give this shop a good review. Unfortunately this would not match our experience. 5 months before our wedding we went suit shopping. At the time, AD had the best options within our budget. Jo was really friendly & made my partner feel more relaxed about the whole process (he hates shopping!). We found a suit, ties, shoes & shirt that matched what we were looking for. Hence the 2 stars. However, things went downhill pretty quickly... They ordered the wrong size shoe, but said they had it all under control (2 weeks until the wedding). Lies. 7 days (!!) before the wedding, they informed us that they couldn't get the shoes. And 5 days before the wedding, they said they couldn't provide the shirt (though in the end they did, very slowly & begrudgingly). This left my poor partner scrambling to find a replacement shoe & shirt, days before he was due to walk down the aisle. Talk about pressure! Would not recommend if you are shopping for an important occasion. You might be left with nothing.

Ordered suits for our wedding, they measured and said to all come in and try on once they arrive and any allterations would be included in the price. Suits took ages to arrive, the guy did not respond to messages for ages. Finally managed to get an answer out of him and arranged for all the groomsmen to go for a fitting to try on the suits. All of them need alterations and fit poorly, then to be told they cant do alterations and will have to get them done somewhere else. We could have ordered these exact suits online ourselves.

Had such a great experience with the guys at AD. Got trousers amended for a suit and a custom shirt made. Would definitely recommend as they really pay attention to your exact requirements and offer great advice! Will come again!

Went in to Guildford today to find a suit for my sisters wedding. One place at the very top of the high street wanted over £1000 for a 3 piece suit, and Moss Bros was so understaffed it was a joke. We went into AD as it was discovered by my sister and future brother in law a few weeks ago. All i can say is wow, the service provided to us was amazing, and sizing was put together well. 5 of us were measured up and ordered in less than an hour, we waiting in moss bros tor 25 mins and not even acknowledged. Will defo recommend AD to all my friend

Popped into AD this afternoon after being lured in by the charismatic Miraj. After taking us through a few options, he had the five of us sold on a great Cavani, sorting out two grooms-to-be and three grooms-party. Had a good eye for sizing, and took us through the measurements quickly. A great experience had by all, and look forward to seeing the team again at the next measuring after I've chucked on 5 stone.
