We are first time self-builders, and decided to opt for a Potton home, to give us the additional support and handholding that we felt we needed for this project. We met Sean through this process, as our assigned architect/designer to work with us throughout the design and planning stages. We struck gold, as Sean has been a revelation. Through his wealth of experience gained by designing hundreds of homes, he turned our sketchy wish list into an initial design, and worked tirelessly and patiently with us over the next few months through many iterations to refine the design based on our feedback. At each stage through this design cycle, he was always approachable, and was extremely responsive to our requests and questions. He also helped us with the various surveys and reports that needed to get done in a timely manner, which were required for the planning application to succeed. He also prepared and submitted the planning application for us, and liaised with the local authority planning dept to iron out a few last minute glitches raised by them, with the result that the application sailed through to approval. The end result is our dream home, which we are now eagerly looking forward to build over the coming months. And we also feel reassured that Sean is only a phone call away if we need any further advice during the build stage. We cannot recommend Sean highly enough. Sean has helped in the planning and design of our new house in every way and has been very accommodating to all our needs and changes along the way. His professional approach, knowledge and lengthy experience as a highly rated architect left us in no doubt of his abilities to satisfy our needs and requirements. Our planning application threw up an anomaly relevant to our local council, but after discussion with our planning officer Sean was able to amend our original plans and full permission was granted within four weeks. Sean has worked with us over the last year to design a new build house on a sloping plot. He spent a lot of time with us as we refined the original design ideas to come up with the final proposal. The final design is quite striking and should fit in beautifully with the landscape on the plot. He worked with us from initial design all the way through to gaining planning permission. He is also involved in the build process, which has just started. We have found him to be patient, practical and always finds time to answer our queries.

Working with Sean was a very easy experience. He's noted our requirements and through a good conversation understood what we wanted as a family and turned that around for us. For us, Sean was very amenable and provided us with the answers as and when we needed them. The design, after a few combined refinements meet exactly what we were after.
