Had My Discovery 3 Gearbox Mega flushed Response by email was probably the fastest I've ever received car booked in same week gear changes now smooth as silk Archie was professional explained the process and diagnosed issues I'd spent thousands chasing in minutes, if you love your Disco take it here.

Great service from AJ Land Rover. Had a limp mode fault which Archie sorted out for me and also recalibrated my suspension for me while I was there. Can't fault them in any way, professional, knowledgeable and very helpful.

2010 Vogue ‘Restricted Performance’ Let us clear one thing up first, The Range Rover Vogue is an amazing car, and I wouldn’t be without it. This is the beginning of year 3 with the car and to be honest it has been exceptionally reliable, only costing regular servicing, MOT’s, and a set of front discs. Then, just before this year's MOT, the dreaded ‘Restricted Performance’ light came on, I sent the car to a local garage for diagnosis of the fault, a service and MOT. The car came back fully serviced with a fresh MOT, the ‘Restricted Performance’ light still on and now the DPF light on. I was advised to contact a DPF specialist to diagnose and fix the issue, they came out checked her over and advised that I replace both inlet manifolds. This is the point panic sets in, do I have to sell a kidney, maybe send our 10-year-old out cleaning chimneys? The more I phoned around the greater my fears became, this was going to cost an arm, a leg, a kidney, and the childhood of my daughter! Main dealers, when they could be bothered to reply quoting figures that resemble telephone numbers, independent’s declining to quote as its such a big job and the Land Rover specialists all claiming to be too busy or quoting similar numbers to the main dealers. Then, as I sat head in hands the phone rang, on the other end of the line was a cheery chap who introduced himself as Archie from AJ Land Rover and having received my email was sure he could help. Somewhat blindsided by having a conversation with a mechanic who was being positive, not scary and who also was talking numbers that us mere mortals understand, I booked the car in. Now this is a remarkably busy garage and Archie said he would get the job done as soon as possible, I left the car and awaited Archies call. Once again, the phone rang and there was the cheery Archie with news… Whoever diagnosed the inlet manifolds got it wrong, the driver-side rear plenum doughnut joining pipe has split, this is a much cheaper part! I picked myself off the floor, picked up the phone and thanked Archie for this good news. While waiting for the part to be delivered and realising that my repair costs have dropped by 75%, I decided to ask Archie to carry out their ‘Famous Land Rover Pamper Package’ while the car was there. Check it out on their website and Facebook page. I picked the car up, all warning lights out, running as sweet as a nut and on driving a noticeable smoothness to the gear change following the pamper packages gearbox mega flush! The Vogue is very much part of our family and we are so pleased to have found a good, honest and reliable place to help us keep it on the road for many years to come, with the real possibility of keeping all my body parts and allowing our little one to enjoy family days out without the need to drag the soot out of her hair first. Thanks, Archie, we will be back!
