We are the areas Premier Indian Takeaway and the very first takeaway to cook in an open kitchen environment where customers can see their food being cooked right in front of them. Akash Accrington has been serving authentic home style cooked Indian food for over 36 years.  My name is Maz and I am the Head Chef at Akash Accrington Premier Indian Takeaway. I have worked in the catering industry specialising in Indian cuisine with some of the best chefs for over 35 years. I am delighted to have had the opportunity of creating delicious unique dishes for Akash Accrington, one of them being the award winning “Megnah Curry®.” I am humbled and very pleased that the dishes have been very well received and are now very popular. May I thank all customers for their support and honest feedback which has helped me and my team immensely. Best Indian takeaway around, the price is good and the food is excellent. Delivery is always good and the delivery guy is a well mannered and nice guy who always closes the garden gate behind him....unlike Royal mail!

Used for first time a couple of months ago …… and as a rule, I dont do take always BUT now this could change. Superb portions, great quality of food/meat and amazing flavours - v good prices and super service . Had friends round at the weekend (who had travelled a long distance) , we wanted a curry (or few) but wanted to impress our guests …… this is exactly what happened. Brilliant curry banquet and selection out on and everyone was happen! Thank you for impressing each time we’ve used you, and long May this continue. Great work….. keep it up and a huge thank you. Orders have been wrong for the last 3 weeks for one reason or another, each time they have promised it would be corrected next time. Tonight a main meal was missing which they admitted had been missed off because the person on the phone couldn’t hear proper cause of the noise in the shop. Said they would have to charge again if they where to bring this. When you order staff haven’t a clue what’s what on the menu and When I spoke to management and tried to explain what had happened wasn’t one bit interested and shouted down the phone. Ordered from this take away for 20 years, never again ! Staff haven’t a clue what’s on the menu and repeating yourself over and over when trying to place and customer service horrendous.
