We changed my mother's care to Alina (Lancing) 5/6 months ago and wish we'd done so sooner. The office staff are very responsive, while the small team of carers for the local area are of an excellent standard. The cost is slightly higher but well worth the difference.

I started at Alina just over a year ago. I can honestly say It is the best company I have worked for. I spent many years in care homes but this is so much better. The staff are all amazing and supportive.

I have worked in Lancing branch for over 3 years and it was the best move I made. Great company to work for. Managers are supportive and really do listen. Everyone is friendly and happy.

I have worked at Alina Lancing for nearly 2 years now and asolutely love it. The management team are so supportive. I came to Alina having never done care work before and the support I received was excellent. The intial training was very comprehensive and informative. It gave me a good idea of what to expect once I was out and about in the field. Nothing was too much trouble, no question was left unanswered. I was made to feel very welcome by the whole team, management and carers . Nearly 2 years on and I can't image doing any other job! I know that I have the complete support of the management team if or when I need it. Any issues I have had have been dealt with and sorted quickly. Earlier in the year i was promoted to an Alina Ambassador. I have come a long way and the fact it has been recognised is an amazing feeling. I have made some great relationships with clients and I have my regulars and it is great to know that I make a difference in their lives on a daily basis. I am very proud to be part of the amazing team at Alina Lancing.

There was times where I would work so so hard, the most draining days with not much appreciation. At first it was all perfect, the management were amazing if you needed support they was happy to give it. But something changed. The area manager Sarah p was absolutely amazing and supportive but with other management it changed. I still always loved the job and the clients and the nature of the job, but it is 20p a mile pay which didn’t cover the petrol. It’s advertised as £12 an hour, but this is only on weekends for a hour call and you hardly recieved a call to a house for an hour. Therefore it’s misleading and makes you think it’s hourly pay £12, which is not and it’s minimum wage. However long you’ve been with the company they choose to not give you the Benefit of doubt with personal issues after loyalty to the company for a long space of years. You feel guilty if you can’t cover or call in sick. They continue to let staff work there and not dismiss them when there is clear stealing that has happened and also abuse where there has been several reports about a staff member heavy handling clients and embarrassing clients and they still keep them on, I beileve this is for the fact of short staffing and knowing these staff members will still always cover the calls. There is also an incident where a staff member borrowed a big amount of money of a client and the response was to the staff member leave with immediate affect otherwise it’ll have to be further investigated. She therefore got to save her dbs and has continued to work in care from protection of her past care company Alina. She therefore might borrow money of a client again. Which could be your family member. All they care about is covering the calls. Nothing else. Also the reviews below about how the management are amazing is actually reviews from the actual management. So therefore are invalid reviews. If you go on to the website the lady’s below names will appear as management of the company and therefore not the carers.
