We booked Alison over a year before our wedding day, and everything seemed okay. However, as the time got closer to our wedding date, we struggled to get a reply from her and found it difficult to book in a time for a catch up. This continued until we finally scheduled in a call one week before our wedding day, of which she was an hour late to. In our initial chat, we agreed to add a second photographer to our package, so the groom could have some morning prep shots, and this was confirmed over email. However, on the call Alison mentioned just she can just “pop over” to him rather than organise the second photographer, which isn’t what we requested and paid for. Also with a week to go until our day, with the amount of stress we both have going on Alison was wanting us to find out what food she can have. This would have been absolutely fine if discussed before hand but with a week go really added to our stress levels. It really felt like Alison was more interested in herself than our day. Following this call we emailed Alison to let her know we wouldn’t feel comfortable with her photographing our wedding and she was demanding a phone call. We didn’t feel comfortable with this and she was not wiling to communicate via email. Alison also refused to refund half the money (we had paid her everything) because she said she was turning away many enquiries for our date, although as in the original email, the first half we paid upfront was to secure the booking the date. Altogether we have been very disappointed and with our wedding being so intimate we had to find another photographer with a week to go.

Alison has captured a number of photos for us over the years including our wedding, newborn and family portraits. We initially met her when she photographed a friend's wedding and her professionalism and approachability really stood out. She has an amazing ability to put everyone at ease - which results in beautiful, natural photos. I could not recommend Alison highly enough and look forward to using her services for many more years to come!

Alison photographed my wedding last month and I can't recommend her enough. Alison arrived on time and was professional. She's so friendly and made us feel super relaxed and it felt like a we had an extra friend/guest throughout her time with us. We had our engagement shoot with Alison too, and we're so happy with the results. I would highly recommend doing this, as its easier on the day. We recieved our photos just a month after our wedding (amazing turn around time) with good communication. We are over the moon with our photos and can't wait to share them with our loved ones. Alison really pushed for our list of combinations so we feel like there's no photos missing from our special day. Thankyou again, for capturing our special day. We hope we can use your services again sometime in the near future.
