I used alpha motors about a month ago in regards to an engine misfire issue . To begin with, they quoted me a price for a diagnosis which I went along with. I was then contacted to say they will need an extra hour to do the diagnosis and will require £45 more on top of what I already paid. They said they would need to do a smoke test etc which was never needed as advised by other mechanics. They never gave me documentation of the result of the smoke test so I doubt they carried one out anyway. Bear in mind in took other mechanics less than an hour to figure the issue by doing a simple compression test. They also falsely diagnosed the issue and said I needed to change an engine coil pack. I went ahead with this as I assumed it would work. Upon picking up the car the engine light had gone ( this is easy to do by clearing codes using the computer). A few days pass and the engine light is back on. I contact them and they tell me to bring the car back as they will have a look. Upon taking it back I am always told leave it with them for a few days and when I call back to check up on the issue all they say is they would need more money to check it despite already paying for the diagnosis parts and labour. upon collecting the car I asked for a receipt for the part i paid for and they failed to provide one. instead they wrote their own one with an inflated price. very unprofessional if you ask me. I'm almost £200 down and the issue is still there.

I was recommended by my neighbour and spoke to Ruben, who was extremely polite, calm, and took his time to explain the process to me. This has not been my experience with other mechanics in the area, who are usually rude and rushing to get the job done. Great service and would thoroughly recommend!

I recently had my car MOT and annual service done at Alpha Motors. The staff are very friendly and professional and do explain everything so you know exactly what is being repaired or replaced on the motor. I would recommend this garage for your car needs.

This is the 1st time I used the Alpha motors mechanics in Harrow. My car had a nasty front collision resulting in a smashed bonnet, grills, and cracked re-bar. They took the time and care to explain all the problems and potential solutions with great care and transparency. They then went above and beyond to replace parts, ensure alignment and painted the car body parts to perfection! Thank you Alpha. Motors . I'll be back!
