Lovely little guest house nestled not far from the heart of Ambleside . Food was decent and the room was spacious and had beautiful views. The unique selling point here above all else was the Staff. Zoe in particular, as busy as she was endeavoured to make our stay as pleasant as possible and she really did go the extra mile to accommodate our needs. No matter how pretty, luxurious or good value for money a place is, if you don't have Staff that are invested, you have nothing at all. Zoe had a positive customer focused approach and took pride I all elements of her work. A real credit to Ambleside Lake House!

Myself and my wife stayed here December 2021 and then again May 2022 in the hideaway Beautiful views close to Ambleside pier and best of all you can stroll around Ambleside Windermere especially if you wake early before anyone else gets there it really is very peaceful and atmospheric And then you can have a delicious breakfast in the hotel Another reviewer reminded myself of the great service by Zoe ? Definitely sounds like the same lady didn't stop from dawn till dusk and nothing was too much trouble a definite credit to the hotel We will definitely be staying again soon

What a place 👏... fantastic location with stunning views of the lakes and surrounding countryside. Stayed in one of the 'Hideaways' and this couldn't have been any more perfect for a couples getaway. Staff were incredible throughout .. will most definitely be coming back here in the near future

Fabulous stay at the lake house. The Location was ideal. Staff all friendly and welcoming. We stayed in a room on the top floor facing the lake and the views were fabulous. Clean, spacious room. The breakfast included in the deal was lovely lots of choice and all tasted great. Would defiantly recommend! And hopefully return soon!
