My aunt spent the last year of her life being cared for at Amelia House. Alan, Nuala and their staff are all genuinely lovely people and you can tell they really care about the residents. The care she received there was of high quality, kind and compassionate. My aunt spoke of staff fondly, with nicknames for them all. She said often how lucky she felt to be there. So thank you Amelia House. I recommend this place wholeheartedly.

My cousin has been in Amelia House for about a year and, during that time, she has been very well looked after. Her outlook on life has improved enormously and she has nothing but praise for the quality of the care she has received. Alan and Nuala and their staff are genuinely concerned to do their best for the residents. I can recommend the home unhesitatingly.

Amelia House is a family run care home with a dedicated team of staff who work tirelessly to provide the best possible care for its service users, and the best possible experience for their families and friends. There are many testimonials to the success of this held within the Home's records which can be seen on request. It is somewhat lamentable that someone would wish to write a review such as the one posted by 3765janie. We are not aware who this person is and do not understand the motive for this indictment or their mentality, but would stress that for any issues of genuine dissatisfaction, we are always happy to follow the appropriate channels included in our policies. We are also baffled by the review posted by george thomas. This gentleman appears to live in India and to the best of our knowledge has never visited or had any connection with the Home.
