AMS were recommended to me by an industry expert who trains M.O.T personnel covering all classes of vehicle from mopeds to the biggest trucks on the road. I took my vehicle to their Moulton Park premises hopeful that they could remedy the issues I was having. Various warning lights on my dashboard were permanently illuminated and the performance was dire. They remedied all issues and I can honestly say that the last time my car performed as well as it does now was when I first acquired it. Said vehicle now drives beautifully and everything is working as it should.Not only was the price I paid fair and competitive I also found them to be people that I like.Will be very happy to use them again in the future.

Had my car not starting up. No connection with ECU. Obviously wiring issue. Took car for diagnostic to this garage. The way diagnostic was done, which I do believe and further electricians from different garages confirmed was not right, caused damage to the number of parts and other associated expenses rising final repair bill to £1300. Instead of tracing corroded wire, which was root cause of original car not starting fault, using correct equipment. Garage technician used overrated fuse which caused wiring loom to caught fire. After it was rewired, car went to loom mode and technician spent extra time trying to rectify or at least locate the issue but with no luck and increased final bill was the only outcome. I guess it was done whithout using any appropriate equipment as apparently this service doesn't have any. My car was returned to me being in limp mode. After taking it to another garage, it was found that due to voltage spike caused by inappropriate diagnostic, throttle body as well turbo boost pressure sensor been damaged and required replacement. + some other consequences as clogged dpf due to car done some miles in limp mode while was taken to another location raised final repair bill up to £1300. I would not recommend this place to anyone and considering to write a complain to trading standards agency.

We called AMS first, and encountered a rather rude person who said nothing about first needing to make an appointment. We then drove all the way out from Northampton only to be told that they could do nothing without an appointment. When I complained, I was immediately shown the door. What a way to run a business!

Got to work Tuesday and found rear passenger tyre had a flat due to a nail in the center tread. A colleague recommended AMS as they are local and had provided a good service to them previously. I rang them and they got me straight in. Managed to repair the tyre at a reasonable price. Really pleased. Would definitely use again. Thank you

Thank you AMS! Car broke down and appeared to be a clutch issue. RAC attended and made the recommendation of AMS Autocare. I was a bit nervous as was further away than I would have liked and I had not used them before. Am pleased to say, this garage were fantastic with me, kept me well informed on issues, discussed pricing options, were sensitive to cost, completed the work in really good time and were very professional along the way. It was also nice that I mainly had contact with one guy at the garage, rather than various different staff which for me was much better. The car felt so good on the way home and I will very likely use them again. Wish they were a bit closer to me though but I think they could be worth the drive.
