My favourite wool shop ever. I have been shopping there for decades. Anne is always ready with a smile and good assistance., as are her staff. A superb old fashioned craft shop...long may it remain.

Fantastic gem of a shop, it's always a treat to go and explore what new things Anne's got in - great selection of yarns, fabric and haberdashery... card crafts and more. Friendly and attentive staff who know their stuff are always a great resource if you're struggling with a project or looking for ideas, as well. Have been a customer for more than 10 years now, and even managed to convince them to send me bits mail-order when I couldn't find what I wanted local to me (I'm no longer local, unfortunately!).

Amazing shop. It was like walking into a treasure box full of fabulous yarns, buttons, materials etc. Staff were very helpful.

I love this amazing shop. It is like an Aladdin's cave. Everything a teacher or mum could possibly want for crafting or classroom displays to materials for making clothes. Not only is the quality and range of the stock breathtaking but Anne and her staff have the knowledge and expertise to advise you how to use it. Nothing is too much troubled for them. Despite being very busy they spent ages helping me collect everything I needed to make a rainbow display in my classroom. Which looks fabulous. Highly recommended. A truly family business who deserves much support.
