Simon & his team delivered a demolition & new extension over a difficult period (COVID & LOCKDOWN) on time & within budget. The communication throughout was excellent & any changes or difficulties were dealt with professionally & with genuine consideration. Aphex Homes completed a 2nd storey, tandem garage conversion, rear extension, three new bathrooms and a new kitchen, and whole-of-house refurbishment. The workmanship was spot on and the fitters John, Jay and Shane each brought their individual strengths the project each with millimetre perfect work. The builder brought forward several suggestions that improved the original design, bringing the porch forward, as well has having a rear vaulted ceiling in the rear open plan area and moving the cloakroom to a better location. The contracted electrician, Craig showed great attention to detail and ensured the +50 downlighters installed on the ground floor were perfectly placed to give good illumination as well as symmetry. All the trades brought-in were top-notch. Covid 19 caused havoc with the schedule; the result was worth the wait.

We have used Aphex Homes for two bathroom projects and are currently working with them again to plan a kitchen refurb. Aphex offer high quality innovative solutions to building renovations. Workmanship is top-notch with high attention to detail. Works were conducted in an orderly manner with works area / surrounding areas kept clean and tidy throughout the project. The planning process was positive with timely communication which continued throughout the project. Aphex are well connected with access to a good range of trades. When issues arose, problem resolution was swift and stress-free. Well recommended.

Simon and his team built a new extension on the back of our house, installed a new kitchen, utility room and downstairs toilet. Also removed our existing kitchen and remodelled the back room...The workmanship is first class, all of the various trades were superb, very polite and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Aphex and would definitely use them again.

I wish I could upload a photo & you would see how Simon & his team have transformed my 1970s bungalow into a beautiful contemporary home. Aphex was recommended to me & now after 3 months of hard work, I'm pleased to recommend him to you. Simon keeps in touch every step of the way. Him & his team of experts will help with ideas. Only the best suppliers & tradesmen are used, but these don't have to be the most expensive either, although you won't find him shopping in B&Q 😉 Please don't bother looking any further. This is your builder, even if he quotes a little more than others (but he won't be the most expensive either). If you don't believe me come see for yourself... Simon is welcome to show any potential customers round my house. Can't stress enough how exceptional this builder is and I'm quite fussy! Thank you to Aphex Installations for everything x
