Gordon1374 StarA quirky cafe in an old lean-to glass house set in a beautiful walled garden. Standard cafe menu, sandwiches, wraps, breakfast, home made cakes plus a limited number of hot dishes all fairly priced. We had cake and tea which was good. Service was polite and efficient. What makes this place special is its setting, especially on a sunny summers day.Friday 15th April 2022
Riccardo Sammartano5 StarWas brought by a friend of mine to this lovely place tucked away by peaceful nature. Fabulous service and location, made better by the surroundings and the food.
I opted for the Full English where mushrooms and tomatoes were substituted at no hassle at all. The presentation was very appealing, and the food itself was outstanding. You can tell in the flavour how fresh and local the produce is, by far the best bacon I've ever had also! Everything was superb and I can't wait to return, by far the best Full English breakfast I've had to date, extremely impressed by this experience and would recommend it to anyone who is passing by.Thursday 26th May 2022
richard henderson2 StarVery very busy, but the orders were wrong, so asked staff, they were very polite. But they took our food back to be left on a side until the rest of order was fulfilled.. So when it arrived it was cool.. Too many Indians not enough chiefs.. I won't be going back.Tuesday 9th November 2021
Andy Haworth3 StarI do love the Applestore, having been a regular visitor since it opened. I try to plan my walks around calling in for a bacon butty. However, having been away for 4 years, I was looking forward to visiting again. Probably because it is very popular, it now seems to have become pretty regimented. I came in and found a table, only to be told I have to wait to be seated. It was 12.15 and my veggie wife wanted the veggie breakfast but was told not after 12pm. Our friends have a lovely teenage autistic boy who just wanted toast but was told it’s not on the lunch menu.
Such a shame. I won’t stop going as I do love the place.Saturday 25th June 2022
