It's an OK gym, joined for 3 months Late 2021 and left. It is and there is no getting away from it, by far the most expensive gym around and not the best facilities either. Other gyms in Carlisle (And I mean gym) are far better equipped with up to date spec machines. Besides the reception, cafe area (Which is nice), I think it looks tired and dark. I can afford to go but with so many choices at less than half the cost id be a fool to spend the monthly sum Bannatyne wants. Noticed you can't sign up month to month either now, so with the £25 joining fee id have to pay £81 first month for full access. Tied in for 3 months so month Two and Three £112 wow.... £56 a month by the way Staff seemed nice but never really interacted with them and I didn't use the cafe.

Lovely pool, saunas, steam rooms, spa pools and gym. It's great for members, however there are limited areas poolside (e.g. loungers) to relax. Also bare in mind if you are visiting for a spa day there may be loud children splashing about in the pool!

Pool was cold, jacuzzi was also cold, showers no better. Went on a Virgin experience spa and was disappointed. The treatments were amazing though and the girls were lovely and tried to make up for our time in pool area.
