Our Memory Lane Community also offers expert care for those living with dementia, utilising a careful blend of skills and techniques developed by leading experts in the field of dementia care, incorporating person-centred design in its use of colour and cues to help individuals navigate through the home, whilst thoughtful interior design features, such us adapted crockery and tableware assists with reminiscence. Communities are broken up into separate units with a family feel so people can feel safe and comfortable. Care is focused on independence, dignity and choice, with a person-centred approach. Staffing levels reflect the needs of residents, and people living with dementia are offered a range of activities to help preserve life skills, support interactions and retain a sense of purpose and selfhood.
Residents in our self-contained assisted Living properties have the option of taking advantage of the and support services in the main home, including meals and participation in activities. Assisted living aims can be tailored to your needs and preferences; aiming to preserve an independent, socially active lifestyle.
Our home was refurbished in 2017 and has been carefully designed with the people we care for in mind. Our bright reception area is the perfect spot for socialising or taking part in one of our many daily activities; our beautiful dining room is a wonderful place to enjoy a three-course, homemade lunch and our bedrooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated. Sami Fawcett5 StarI recently attended a meeting at this beautiful home, the staff made me feel extremely welcome, the room was bright and the hospitality team served fresh refreshments throughout the day. The lunch was amazing 5* cuisine particularly the homemade biryani!
The residents I met were happy and enjoying life, walking around the gorgeous woodland grounds, what a place to live.Thursday 10th March 2022
Mr Nick Gascoigne5 StarWonderful home! My father recently moved into Chacombe Park to receive end of life care. There were no hospice beds available and we were unable to find carers to support us at home. It was a big decision to make but from the moment we arrived my father (and us as a family) received the most incredible care we could have hoped for. We honestly couldn't fault a thing. The knowledgeable staff provided first class care and treatment and obviously took great pride in their work. Every member of staff we encountered was polite, courteous and beyond helpful. The nursing team were full of empathy and compassion. The dignity and respect they afforded my father was beautiful. The staff managed to turn a stressful situation into one of peace and tranquility. These are lasting memories that as a family will never be forgotten.Tuesday 9th March 2021
Zoe Lewis5 StarChacombe Park have been amazing, supportive, encouraging and nothing but kind since my Nanny transferred there from another home. Within days of arriving at Chacombe Park her mood was much brighter and the care she has recieved has been fantastic, we finally feel like all Nanny's needs are being met. The visitors policy and pod during this unprecidented time allows all of our family to take it in turns in visiting. I would highly recommend this care home to anyone. The staff go above and beyond to make residents feel comfortable in the warm homely environment, nothing is too much trouble. Thank you to all at Chacombe Park for taking such good care of our precious Nanny.Saturday 24th October 2020
Ruth Lewis5 StarDuring what has been a very difficult time for us as a family following the death of my Mother. Chacombe have been supportive and so helpful, as I had to make the difficult decision that Daddy needed more than I was able to give and transfer him there. Nothing has been too much for the Staff at Chacombe to ensure my Father's needs are met and to reassure me. Being able to visit each week in the pod that they have set up has been so beneficial for both of us to ensure he knows we're still here and haven't abandoned him. Dr. Anju Menon5 StarChacombe care home is a beautiful and warm home for the elderly. The ambience is out of this world . The calm and peace surrounding this home is serene. The facilities within the home are absolutely brilliant . The balconies looking out through each room gives every resident an opportunity to visualise the natural beauty of this place and also with the social distancing, an ideal way to meet their loved ones. It just goes to show how much they have thought threw the comfort of their residents. The staff are absolutely lovely and their administration is truly committed to makes every residents stay a comfortable experience. I highly recommend this care home if you are looking for a beautiful,safe and comfortable care home for your loved ones.Wednesday 11th November 2020
