Visited bank 3 times over the last 3 weeks for IT & fraud issues. On all 3 occasions I was dealt with promptly by Karen & Mandi who were extremely professional & understanding. All of the staff at this branch were polite & helpful.

If, like me, you’ve had an account set up with Barclays for quite sometime ? Then it’s a huge upheaval to change banks. And they know that. If you’re looking to open an account ? Then I strongly advise you go elsewhere. Wait times are lengthy. There are very few staff, who don’t want to assist, they just want you to try and figure it out yourself on line. And you can wait absolutely ages trying to speak to somebody by phone. Take your money elsewhere. Where they will put some value on your custom.

Telephone- I’m a night worker so decided to call the bank to ask a simple question. Fell asleep listening to the “on hold” music. 5 hours 28 minutes I clocked up when I woke up. The elderly don’t use apps and tech like the younger generation. So sad that the good old “speak to a real human” is being driven out!
