Based in Chingford, we offer lessons to riders from all over London & Essex. We pride ourselves on our quality of lessons for beginners and advanced levels alike. Hacks can also be booked by our advanced clients with access to The Royal Gunpowder Park that is on our doorstep and also the famous Epping Forest with its many bridle paths and beautiful scenery. Friendly, cheerful and far cheaper than most stables locally. Really enjoy the lessons as the staff are friendly. Horses are clearly well taken care of. And the cute dogs onsite are a clear bonus - would recommend to anyone looking for a stable/lessons.

Wonderful place. Lots of horses. Fabulous instructors. Not too muddy like other yards i have been to. Really friendly staff. They do pony days in half terms and pony birthday parties for the kids. Make sure you go to the toilet before visiting.

Have been having weekly lessons here as an adult and really enjoy them. Lessons are priced well and I have a fantastic instructor who makes sure i get the most out of each lesson. I have learnt so much and my confidence has grown here more than at any other the other riding school I've been too (and I've been to a few in the area). Lovely friendly, atmosphere. User friendly online booking system. Highly recommend.

My daughter has been riding here for about 6months, and really enjoys it here. The staff are very friendly and teach with a lot of detail (I used to ride as a child and never was taught half of the things she has learnt already!) My daughters confidence has improved so much in all aspects of her life since coming to barnfields.

I have been coming here for a number of months and they are so friendly and welcoming. I have been having private lessons and am doing really well. I always look forward to my lesson every week. They have a large number of horses and the teachers are very knowledgable and patient. The whole school is lovely and there is a lot of space for the horses and the lesson. I highly recommend the school!
