We have great access to many tourist destinations across Northumberland, or for a stop off travelling North to South being situated just off the A68. Fabulous place to stay. Thoroughly recommend. The owner was more than accommodating considering we arrived very late in the evening. The breakfast was fresh and tasty and nothing was too much trouble. The waitress was friendly and with a lovely genuine smile Thankyou Colin and Liz Willis 🇦🇺🦘🐨

Love this pub. We were a group of older motorbike riders and had booked all the rooms. We were very well looked after, good food, comfy beds and the quiz hostess was brilliant. We are already planning to return. Highly recommend

Fantastic food and ready loverly staff in a wonderful part of the country. Stayed here several times and will definitely be back. Good base if you're planning to visit parts of Hadrian's Wall and the surrounding Roman sites.

Amazing pub with excellent food and service. We stopped here at random looking for some food and were very pleasantly surprised. Beautifully decorated, bright and lovely furniture etc with real fire. We had meals of duck, pheasant and fish and chips - all fantastic top notch food and reasonably priced. Also provided a high chair for our baby! Highly recommend - we will definitely be returning next time we're in the area!
