‘Outstanding’ home care in the East of England

Our branch based in Bury St Edmunds is one of our seven branches in the south and east of England and provides fully managed live-in care and visiting care to our clients across the East of England.

All of our branches are person-centred, dedicated and trustworthy. The only difference between our branches is that some offer different services, are regulated independently by the CQC, and provide care to different areas of the country.

Rated ‘Outstanding’ by the CQC

We are very proud of the team at the East of England branch who received an ‘Outstanding’ rating from the Care Quality Commission. The report was published on 29th December 2018. We were judged on five areas which shows how Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, and Well-led we are.

Our East of England Branch is based just south of Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk. This ‘Outstanding’ rated branch delivers live-in care to Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex, Cambridgeshire and visiting care to areas surrounding Bury St Edmunds.

They came in to help me care for my terminally ill Mum in the last week of her life at home. They were respectful, caring and kind at all times to Mum and myself. They were present when Mum passed away, in fact they were washing her when they noticed a change in her breathing and alerted me. She was gone a few minutes later. They were so compassionate and took over helping me and looking after me in those moments straight after Mum’s passing. They were brilliant.

Not worth it. On interview gives you big hopes and promises but in real life treating staff like garbage. “Paying”mileage but won’t give enough time to travel. Won’t give you an update on customer’s. If you get friendly with customer they will change your run. If you say you can’t take extra shifts, count on hours to be cut. Lack of communications in between management/staff/customers. Big gaps in between jobs, if you live locally then it’s fine, but if not you just have to spend time in your car and you won’t get any money for it. Makes false accusations about you and won’t even listen your side of story. Customers don’t receive enough care for money they pay. I won’t hire them for my parents according my own experience as a member of this company. There are no team work as such, everyone is trying to stab you in the back.
