I like to give all businesses the benefit of doubt. I don’t use these barbers as much due to poor hygiene. But due to being short on time and not having used the barbers for a while I returned. Muhammad the owner had finished cutting a customers hair and I got up to sit down to have my hair cut. Muhammad walked out without saying anything after 15 minutes of waiting I asked the other barber where Muhammad was and he was unsure. I went outside and found Muhammad sitting in the next door shop talking. I asked him what’s happening and was told he is on a break. I don’t take things personally but from a business perspective I found this rude and insulting to be left without being told he is going on a break. The other barber had started on another person so I left my turn with him as well. After the other barber completed the customer he told me I need to wait as he has his own people he needed to tend I told him I was here before them all and he told me he would do me next. After waiting more than an hour and half the barber told me I must wait after he cuts another customers hair and he goes he has another customer after him as well. Muhammad had still not returned. At this point I made it very clear that I had been treated unfairly and left. Muhammad didn’t return after being there for more than 1 and 30 minutes and he sat next door. The clippers are have loads hair and are not cleaned regularly and I left as I always got a rash after they used their clippers on my head, hence the reason I left. Never had an issue with my current barbers. I didn’t want to leave such a review but having had to wait such a long time and wasted my time I had no other choice. Maybe Muhammad should prioritise his customers and learn customer service skills.
