Have used BOS previously for some audio transcription & copy typing some time ago. However, on this occasion I wanted some old photographs cleaned and somehow moved onto a disc or pen so I could look at them on my computer or tv. I could have gone to a more established company in this neck of the Lake District woods, but the prices on offer on Bluebell's website were very competitive, so decided to put through a smallish order with them first to see how they got on. There's a shopping basket page on their site, and I just wanted 30 loose photos and 30 slides cleaning and then moved to a USB pen. They do offer all sorts of restoration and transfers, but I just wanted something simple to begin with. There's even an option to collect my finished order from their Gosforth office. It took about 6 days to complete the order, as originally estimated. And I was regularly updated with emails with regards progress. And since I'd already paid through Paypal I simply stopped by their office and collected my well packaged photos and the USB pen. Returned home and plugged pen into my laptop, and the cleaned photos were really excellent! They had removed various scratches and smudges, and lifted some of the faded colors. There were one or two that hadn't come through very well, but they did warn me of this, probably due to overexposure, which is something that couldn't do much about. Anyway, will now be putting through a much bigger order soon, and for the price, I have to stay I am pleased I went through these guys again rather than trying a more expensive option

I wanted to send some old photos to friends in France but did not want to use social media as there were many to send. I tried this place and they managed to copy the photos to digital photos and they put them in a Dropbox folder where my friends could access from France. It was very easy and quite cheap to. And not long to wait. Very good service I like.
