How wonderful to find a general hardware & pet shop with the courtesy & helpfulness we found on bank holiday Monday. Brilliant with our Schnauzer Ella & adjusted her collar even though we didn’t buy it there. Wish we had more shops like it

One of those shops where you can find virtually anything, (increasingly rare I might add, )and the price range is extensive too, with many items cheaper than most alternative stores. The variety is enormous and comprehensive. The staff are informed, very helpful, happy and genuinely interested in providing a quality service, and they really do know what they are on about. Once you have visited this shop, you will be hooked, and you will say goodbye to the anonymous and expensive supermarket style ironmongers, unless of course you are seriously deranged and can't perceive a good thing when you see it.

Love going here, if you need it you can most likely find it here, if not just ask any of the friendly helpful staff and they will. Great original style hardware store, worth a visit even if just for a browse.

Fabulous shop! 23rd December and broke the glass on our woodburner. They cut me new glass plus sold seal, rope and glue and said any problems they would be open until 17.30. Thank you so much for your friendly service and advice. We will be warm for Christmas now.
