wAVOID AT ALL COST. Please read negative reviews before call this "engineer". My nearly new boiler was heating water only on comfort mode. We called that person to check it for us. At that time only my wife been at home which is important in this story. After charge us 120£ this specialist called me and informed that part will be available in 2 weeks and he is going for holiday so will be back end of month but didnt mention that he left boiler opened turned off so no hot water for us for nearly 3 weeks. When i come back my wife told me that he had leak from boiler and all electronic was wet so i called him again and ask for it in reply Gas engineer start blame my wife for not turning off tap water and basically said that its all her fault. He also said that he can set it to initial state for another 40£ in few days because boiler needs to dry first. Very intresting that he didnt told me that in when he called me 2 hours before. End of story i called another gas engineer explained him all. Said that its unaceptable te left GAS DEVICE as he did. Advise us to report it Health and Safety Executive & Safe Gas Register which i will. Also he checked part availability and tomorrow will be delivered (total cost with replacement 70£) this guy charge us for 120 only for check. DO NOT RECOMEND! CHECK 1 star reviews i see its not first story like it.

I have used Jon a few times before to service our boiler and have always found Jon very helpful, polite and professional. We needed a kitchen tap replacing fairly urgently before we went on our holidays and even though Jon was stacked up with boiler repair and servicing jobs he managed to fit us in and i could not be happier with the service provided. I would highly recommend Jon and his services to anyone and i will be using them again in the future. 5 Star Service.

Over the past 6 years we have chosen Jon to carry out the servicing of our boiler and other gas appliances. He is always very knowledgeable, able to come out at short notice and generally just a very nice man. Over the years, he has also installed new radiators, fixed a leaking toilet and made repairs to our central heating system. He is competitively priced and will always give his advice if he feels an alternative method would be cheaper. He even hopped up the ladder on his last visit to fix our guttering! We would definitely recommend Jon, and when we move house he will still be our chosen gas engineer.

Jon and his apprentice were very friendly, polite, and knowledgable. The problem was quickly assessed and fixed with a new part installed, at the time arranged and for a fair price. I asked Jon to post me an invoice/receipt and this arrived as promised a few days later. It would be great and very 2019 if he could take card payments and issue receipts on site, but it's not essential for me and doesn't detract from a quality service. I would happily recommend Jon to anyone in the area and will use in future(hopefully not needed!!), no complaints at all.

I called about a faulty boiler, the boiler could produce hot water but no central heating. Jon came the same day, diagnosed the problem and a week later replaced the part. All done professionally and expertly. A week later it stopped working, Jon said he wasn't going to come back, to take a look. Point blank refused, it wasn't a question of money. I have had to pay a second engineer a call out fee, and jon had left the boiler with alot of air trapped around the system. This left me without hot water for two weeks. Jon was not interested and refused to give me a refund of any sort. I requested his £45 callout fee back, but the answer was no.
