Borstal Baptist Church

We are glad that you are here and we hope you will find what you are looking for.  If you have recently moved into the area or are visiting the church for the first time, we give you a very warm welcome.  We hope you will feel at home among us.

Some people still associate the church with a building but the church is really about people.  It’s about valuing each other and encouraging people to grow in the love of God and serving our community.

We have lots of different activities each week to which you are most welcome.  More information can be found on the menu pages along the top of this page.

We have a lift that enables access to all levels of the church building.  We also have an accessible toilet and baby change facilities, as well as a hearing loop system.

Service times

Sunday 10.30am (10:00am from 1 August 2022) followed by refreshments. The service is about a hour long, and whilst we are unable to offer creche factilities at the moment, little ones are welcome - we know they might be noisy, we know they might be active, and that's just fine with us!
