I can’t thank the staff enough at Braeside for all they are doing for my mum at this very difficult time. Their kindness, understanding and compassion are a true blessing. The home is spotless and clean smelling, they serve excellent food and most of all give top quality care and really get to know their residents. When it’s time for me to go in a home, send me here please.

The staff were absolutely wonderful with my dad who was receiving palliative care for brain cancer. Every time we telephoned or visited we had an update on my dad as a person and not as a patient. He was made to feel like Braeside was his home and the well trained staff did everything possible to make him comfortable. My family and I could not provide the physical care that dad needed in his last weeks and the staff at Braeside not only did this but were supportive of both his and our emotional needs. There are multiple reviews on here that are the polar opposite of my experience and I have to say they do not appear to be from people who have legitimately and directly dealt with the home or staff. Thank you to everyone at Braeside who welcomed, cared for and treated my dad with dignity during his short stay.

Is it the poshest home? No Has it beautiful gardens? No Are the staff compassionate, empathic, genuine & hard working? Yes! Vanessa, Amanda Peter & Jean to Name but a few, you are all ‘Angels’ & we can not thank you enough ! You deserve recognition for all ur hard work attention to detail & care, not only for our mum but for taking notice of us, her loving & clearly heartbroken family Thanks so very very much!

This place doesn’t even deserve the one star! To find my grandma covered in bruises without informing none of the family ! Nor did they get my grandma checked over medically ! It’s took for my mum and sister to turn up and find my grandma in this state ! My gran was only medically checked over when my mum called the police and ambulance! The staff are rude who refuse to give there names when you say you want to take this matter further ! No explanation how my grandma encountered the injuries she had ! No accident forms no nothing ! My grandma wasn’t the first to be neglected and the way they tried to hide it tell me there more to it ! The place is currently on investigation with all authorities due to what has happened to my grandma ! My grandma wasn’t the first this had happened to and if this place doesn’t get shut down permanently she properly won’t be the last !!!!!
