Not as advertised. The window outside says ‘Traditional Bakers’ and ‘freshly filled rolls’. In reality this means a very poor quality prepackaged sandwich in horrible plastic packaging that they charge £3 plus for . The cake selection is very small and very over priced. As for traditional I think they mean out of date, with the tired paintwork and old signage from COVID restriction restriction days. “Masks must be worn” and “only one person may enter the shop at a time” There is a lovely sandwich shop around the corner which is cheaper and has a far better selection of freshly made rolls

Brilliant place ran by Palmers for past 18 years excellent choice of bread and cakes far better quality than Brett’s used to have and better priced. People should suipport local business

It's local which is good in an emergency but far too expensive to use every day the bread is not as good as Tesco and cost twice as much the same goes for cakes although Bretts cakes are better

Since Brett's get their bread etc from Palmers bakery to sell, it's gone downhill drastically. Very little choice of cakes and very expensive for what they are.
