Sally Stapleton5 StarWe enjoyed a fabulous 4 night break at Bridge House.
Lynn is a most attentive host and we felt so well looked after for the entirety of our stay.
Our room was large, airy and freshly decorated. More importantly it was spotlessly clean, as was the beautiful and modern ensuite shower room.
There was always a plentiful supply of teas and coffee in our room, which I truly appreciated as quite often places only offer enough for 1 or 2 drinks each day.
The dining room was lovely, and breakfast was delicious; freshly cooked with local produce and home baked bread.
Lighter choices were available, but full English all the way for us!
The B&B is around a mile from town centre, which was easily walkable along a level road with good lighting and footpaths. Our room was at the back, overlooking the garden so I didn't hear any traffic noise at all.
The superking bed was lovely and the pillows were the softest that I've ever slept on!
At the end of our stay, I felt as though we were saying goodbye to a good friend who I had known for years.

Ben Mrozek5 StarWe booked a two night stay to attend a local funeral. We were welcomed warmly by Lynn & Paul who made sure we were settled in and had everything we needed. They were very accommodating when we had special request and went the extra mile to make sure our stay was comfortable.
The Breakfasts were amazing and it came as no surprise to learn Lynn had won a National Award for them!!
The double bedded room overlooking their beautiful back garden was wonderful and everything was spotless. We spent some time sat in this fantastic garden in the warm sunshine.
We cannot over emphasise how charming and welcoming both Paul and Lynn were and would highly recommend this establishment to all.Sunday 19th June 2022
Ian Hirst5 StarLynn and Paul are great hosts, so welcoming and friendly, we immediately felt at home.
Our room was very spacious, the superking bed was very comfortable, the whole place was spotlessly clean.
The breakfast was really well cooked and delicious.
It's easy to see why Bridge House has won awards - Paul and Lynn are very deserving of the recognition.
