A great meal, we revisited from Buckinghamshire after a good number of years and it exceeded expectations. A very good restaurant with a great menu, the belly pork was the best ever (and I have it often) and the haddock was presented as I have never seen, with a massive portion of fish. We will return.

My wife and I were staying at the old barn hotel a few miles away and I couldnt eat the meals they served us, I sent them back. We looked for somewhere else to eat the second night. The staff were really friendly and the meals were the best I have ever had. I am 79 years old and eaten all over the world. I only wished they had one in the Noth West. Thank so much for making our anniversary night special. If anyone gets the chance to eat here, please try it or you will miss something special. Harry Jackson

The Brownlow Arms is a lovely old hotel, beautifully looked after by the owners. Lovely rooms, terrific food and Lorraine is a great host. Highly recommended.

Great place to eat if you like proper,in house cooking the food was well presented and very tasty.The staff were very attentive and well trained.would recommend this place for a special meal,well worth a visit

Lovely food!! I had the soufflé, it was amazing!! My friend had the kebabs but only got two very small pieces of chicken, on two skewers so that was disappointing. The venison with sloe jus was perfect!! So overall good and service was excellent.
