I used Buckland timber for the design and manufacture of a conservatory roof structure in London using laminated beams. Having produced my own drawings of the design required I contacted two sets of Structural Engineers, both of whom came up with their own designs which were totally unsuitable. I contacted Buckland who understood my requirements very quickly producing drawings and calculations for what was required with no difficulty whatsoever. They subsequently manufactured the roof structure/frame taking into account several alterations that were required along the way, supplied images of the assembled structure, and finally delivered to site the disassembled timbers. Once reassembled on site the structure fitted perfectly. If I do it again Buckland will be my first port of call. My thanks to Robin. Richard Platings
