Byfords is based in the centre of Holt, a pretty Georgian town filled with lots of independent shops and surrounded by walks and countryside. Our Bed and Breakfast has 16 Posh B&B ensuite rooms and a self-catering apartment. Byfords is one of the best places to stay if you want to explore all that North Norfolk has to offer, whether you're looking for a long weekend away or a much-needed mini-break away from it all.
Byfords is also a great place to eat, with a café that serves up hearty breakfasts, brunches, lunches, afternoon teas and delicious dinners. If you are on the go or wanting a picnic, the takeaway store is open daily with a click-and-collect service so you can pre-order online.

R H4 StarHad takeaway coffee and cake. Very nice girls on the counter who serve. The coffee is really well made and very hot which I like. Plenty of choice on the cakes but savoury snacks sausage rolls, made sandwiches etc were scarce but we came around 3pm.

Such a fantastic experience! I really hope Byfords repeat this afternoon tea, as we had the best time. The food was delicious, pretty, and set up in a beautiful autumnal display. The tiny details like the little biscuit bears holding pecans was a very cute touch! It felt very special. We loved the 'buffet style,' so you can choose exactly what you fancy.
The staff were brilliant and certainly an asset to Byfords. They were friendly, attentive and worked non stop. A special thanks to Natasha who gave a wonderful service!

Stephen Stiles5 StarHo baby.......if you want a good ole traditional English breakfast......come here. Great coffee and tea, plenty of other things on the menu if you don't want a fry up. Beer n cider served from 11.30am .
The staff were happy and helpful, and even did me fried bread as a fry up should have fried bread and not toast in my book.
It's a lovely historic building with plenty of seating.

We had the Byfords Cheesesteak. Chips nice and crisp. Crisp onion rings but greasy, spicy slaw. The main event lacked a vital ingredient....steak. the tiniest bits of what looked like sliced deli beef were disappointing. Expensive for what it was.Tuesday 3rd October 2023
