Best recommendation I've had for a long time, the problem I had with my car was sorted straight away with out any issues, along with a service and MOT.

Eri5 StarMy MX-5 had a irritating squeal at low speeds - quite embarrassing in traffic! Others had looked at it but the best diagnosis I had was that it was 'nothing important'... I rang Colin after an online search for an MX-5 expert - he guessed what the problem was after a couple of minutes on the phone, and this turned out to be exactly right.
A couple of days later after a service, MOT and new brake calipers, I could hold my head high in traffic again - thanks very much! 🙂Wednesday 16th February 2022
J1 StarThe worst experience I have ever had with any garage.
Drove my MX5 down 4 weeks ago to have a chat with one of the owners about how much it would cost to have both rear sills replaced and the chassis rails cleaned up. Told me a good story about how he would do this, undercoat that and everything would be about £675 + vat. Booked the car in to be fixed on the 4th Dec and planned to leave it until a week later (he told me it would take a week 3 separate times). I told him I lived 1.5 hours away and would have to hire a car whilst he was doing the work on mine.
Long story short, he did nothing to my car, it was sat there for a week with not one thing done. The owners did not ring me, or communicate anything at any point.
So I turned up and he was like "oh not touched it yet mate sorry" and started giving ridiculous excuses why he had done nothing.
Not only have a I wasted £348 on hiring a car for a week, but my car is no different than it was before I gave it to him.
Safe to say he has completely abuse my trust and I would seriously caution anyone in leaving their car there.
As a side note, these guys get in your car with half lit cigarettes in their mouths, black filthy hands, coughing everywhere without covering their mouths and their office is the filthiest place I have seen in a long time.
