In our Dementia House, we can care for up to 11 people with four carers on duty, supervised by a Shift Leader during the day.

Our nursing area can support up to 11 people and is managed by a Registered Nurse, who supervises two care staff during the day.

During the night, there are seven experienced carers and a Senior Carer, supervised by a Shift Leader in the residential and dementia areas. Our residents in the nursing area are supported by two experienced carers and supervised by a Registered Nurse.

Most of our care staff have achieved, or are working towards an NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care.  There is always a Registered Nurse on shift who oversees the safe and effective care delivered by our staff.

All our residents’ rooms are equipped with a 24-hour nurse call system. Some of the residents have a personal alarm to carry, so they can call for assistance if required.

Additionally, we have two dedicated Activities Coordinators who organise a variety of activities as well as trips outside the Home. They support our residents’ health and wellbeing.

We have staff who are fluent Filipino, Romanian, Polish and Spanish speakers.

Please note that the level of care each person receives will depend on their individual needs. This is continuously monitored and reviewed to ensure each person receives the right level of care. Staffing levels may be adjusted in different areas of the Home to support the level of care required by residents at any particular point in time.

The home is magnificent and the care provided is first class. Every member of staff is genuinely exceptional and mindful of residents' needs. Facilities are stunning..

The staff, nurses and manager at the time (2017) where so rude and un welcoming. Place is run like complete shambles. You can be made to take your lunch break at 10am then not get dinner break till 6 on a shift thats 7am-21pm! Some of the nurses showed no compassion to their clients. - i worked there for an agancy.
