Update: even more disappointed!!! We had someone finally come in to evaluate if we needed screed. We were told we didn’t, bought the flooring, then scheduled installation. While scheduling, we offered to take the carpet out ourselves and did so the night before install. Today, we were told we need screeding which is out of our budget and we would not have cut our carpet in pieces and ripped it out. We would have paused the entire purchase. Now we have this floor to look at and cannot put our ripped up and cut up carpet back. This is a nightmare!!!! First review: We had to reschedule 3 times to have someone measure the flooring because they kept going to our old residence. This took on a span of nearly a month to get them in our home! Not to mention the inconvenience of having to stay home each time waiting for them to come at a non specific time of that scheduled day. After paying for flooring it took over a week and 4 calls (where I’d speak to someone and get told they’d call me back-didn’t happen) to finally get an answer on scheduling installation (which we have now been directed to their sister company and are waiting for a date). Overall has been frustrating, felt disorganized, and long waiting times for answers.

Thank you Carpetright and Christian. After almost ordering at a rival well known carpet/ flooring shop only two doors along and not feeling confident we went into Carpetright Cambridge branch. Christian the sales person was so knowledgeable and professional offering a great choice at great value, nothing was too much trouble. We placed our order there and then and came away feeling happy and confident and can’t wait for our order of carpet and vinyl to arrive. Great knowledgeable service great selection great prices

As newbies to the carpet / vinyl buying world we popped into carpetright Cambridge today. Christian was friendly and so helpful. He patiently worked out the measurements from my pictures and scribbles. He found us the best deals and took care of everything for us. UPDATED REVIEW: three weeks ago I wrote a 5-star review for this store because I received a great customer service in the store. Unfortunately, 3 weeks onwards and despite promising to fulfil my order within up to 10 working days, I am yet to understand where my order is. I received no proactive communication from the store with regards to whereabouts and delays to my order. I had to call multiple times and even walk in and all I got was "we don't know what's going on" or "we are working on it". Not good enough for a large retailer like this. They didn't fail to charge me right away but think this is acceptable to keep customer clueless for over 3 weeks. Very disappointed that the experience turned out to be so poor.
