Junita Rollingson1 StarInitially I took my car in for an MOT, I then received a call to say it was ready and was charged £80 for failed emissions - no phone call to say it had failed and an hour's labour for driving the car up the road?
I then took the car in for an injector leak off test as my car just struggled to start on its own. I explained to a gentleman what had already been done on my car and that I needed to rule out the injectors.
I then received a phone call and was told a diagnostic test was carried out, I was also told that they were not to spend much time on my car, and that there was no point doing a leak off because it is the fuel pressure regulator.
I was charged £60 for them to read the fault codes - which I had already done!!!
I ordered a fuel pressure regulator, changed it and guess what - it didn't work.
So without even requesting ANOTHER LEAK OFF TEST I changed my injectors. It's now the morning after replacement and my car starts as she should do.
I personally feel these guys are utterly inexperienced and cannot follow simple instruction. My suspicions of the issue were correct and I was not listened to. I have lost out on £150 following their advice. Although conveniently placed I will not be using their services again and will be finding a mechanic who wants to get to the bottom of the issue.Sunday 5th December 2021
