I have trained at some of the best gyms across the midlands from the golden era till now so some 30 years plus!! I genuinely never thought I’d find a Gym that would Surpass two gyms that I put in the top two spots for being the best! Then I found Classic Physique which my dear friend introduced me too! So the gym , equipment unbelievable, Amazing with so many machines for each body part it’s divine. Boxing ring Yes with a wide variety of bags, functional area Yes , cardio equipment Yes …but for many people especially those introverts or just starting on their fitness journey a Gym can often be intimidating by the shear nature of the fact you get fit, strong and hulking guys & girls training which I’m sure if off putting to many! This is often compounded /reinforced by the bad attitude and aura created by the small minority of some insecure people that for me have ruined so many gyms, this I have no doubt will resonate with most reading this! Now then the cake is classic physique Gym it’s the best gym I’ve ever used taking number 1 spot with ease ..but what led me to this review. The icing on the cake is I have never been in a gym where it’s entire staff understand the environment they are in to the point where not only is their attitude welcoming to the highest level they want that same friendly attitude from their customers too and that’s where the magic happens! You see this gym has the most amazing staff but also friendly and helpful customers that I’ve witnessed helping new starters correcting their form and giving advice. The attitude and ethos of the team That run the business filters down to its customers. This for me is the much needed icing on the cake that makes this gym by far the midlands finest Gym in all 9 Of the midlands east and west hands down!!!!! Shout out to James superb personal trainer who will soon be training my daughter whom has always felt uncomfortable training in gyms due to her beauty but after the experience and what I’ve witnessed I feel at ease introducing her to this spectacular Gym!!!

Been coming to this gym for around a year and a half now and I absolutely love going. As a woman I feel so comfortable getting on with my workouts. Love the banter with Nigel and James. The only way I can describe this gym is you walk in as a stranger and walk out as part of a family. You will not find a better gym as far as equipment and they are always trying to improve themselves. Karen (Rachel)

Joining a gym was incredibly anxiety provoking for me, the thought of it literally gave me palpitations- but thank god I had been recommended this gym! James, Nigel and James have gone above and beyond to make me feel relaxed every time I come in. It doesn’t matter how many questions I ask or how often I have to get them to show me a piece of equipment or how many queries I have about my food they have always been very willing to help me. I have had training sessions with all 3 of them and have been impressed with their knowledge, professionalism and boundless enthusiasm for what they do. I feel they genuinely care and want me to reach my goals. This is an amazing gym, especially for women, it’s safe and everyone I have spoken to is hugely friendly and happy to help me - I wish I was able to go every day!

Best gym in the midlands by a milestone, such a friendly and upbeat place to be in. From the day you step foot in the door, you're not a customer or a client you're family. The barrows are honestly some of the nicest and professional people you will ever meet, its never a dull day with them & its thanks to them that I'm where i am now and still moving forward, so if you want to get in shape ready for a big day or for the summer then who better to train you then a 1st place winning bodybuilder or his amazing dad & there incredible members of staff.

A very welcoming gym... you are accepted for who you are, not what you look like... beginner to advanced... I feel so comfortable here... there are some super gym goers there... they give me encouragement... thanks guys... ☆
