This local nature reserve consists of ancient woodland, grassland, and sandstone cliffs. The interconnecting woodland pathways link Bakersfield, Colwick, and Sneinton. The woods and fields provide plenty of space for the dogs to run, sniff, and play together.
I am trained in canine first aid, and qualified in professional daycare and boarding for dogs. I have several dog behaviour qualifications and am currently studying for two more. I believe in a science-based, positive reinforcement approach to training, and work with owners to help bring out the best in their dog.
We have a large, dedicated 'dog room' just for the pups! The dogs also have access to other downstairs rooms as needed. We have a good sized garden, big enough to run and play in, plus a fenced off deck that they can access throughout the day though a doggy door.

Aga HOOLAHAN5 StarWe are so grateful with my Gaia to find Sarah and Colwick Frolics. My Gaia (German Shepherd- 16months) loves to play with her fur friends and she loves to stay with Sarah.
Sarah is reliable, experienced, positive and knowledgeable.

Charles Gill5 StarSarah has been so good over the years and I am convinced that only her hard work has kept Ella with me. As I am disabled Ella was not getting the exercise needed and I was spoiling her with treats. She was lethargic and overweight, fortunately with Sarahs hard work and dietary advice Ella is now like a puppy even the vet is impressed.
Thank you SarahMonday 30th January 2017
Suzanne Robertson5 StarMy boy Arthur has been going to Colwick Frolics since July 2015 when he was 7 months old. He is a border collie so not the easiest of breeds to deal with but Sarah has been phenomenal and I cannot thank her enough for her kindness, her knowledge of dogs and the simple fact that she cares for Arthur as one of her own. He loves going to Colwick Frolics and runs into her house when I drop him off in the morning; I drop him off safe in the knowledge that not only is he going to be cared for to the highest standard possible but he has so much fun!!! The daily photos Sarah takes of her walks with all the dogs prove this and it's so exciting to see what they've all been up to during the day. Arthur is a 'regular-irregular' in that he doesn't have set days and sometimes may not go for a couple of weeks; Sarah always texts to find out what he's been up to the weeks she doesn't see him - that to me means so much and shows she genuinely cares. Sarah has helped with the training of Arthur and has given me so much advice which I've taken on board. Arthur has made some lovely paw-friends too; we drive past one of his friends (who is also on her way to day care) most mornings when I drop him off and he always spots her and is so excited to see her.
I literally thank my lucky stars every day Sarah looks after my boy, that I found someone so talented, enthusiastic and caring.Thursday 8th December 2016
