Paul has always been passionate about mechanics and has been fixing cars since he was a young boy. After passing his city and guilds at Banbury College he has always had work as a mechanic/technician. In 2013 the opportunity arose to move into the Walnut Tree Lane workshops and he has been based here ever since. Since 2019 Paul has been an elected professional member of the 'Instuitue of the Motor Industry' at 'associate' level with the additional recognition of 'Certified Automotive Engineer'.  In October 2019 Paul passed the IMI Level 3 EV/Hybrid Servicing exam, currently the highest level available, and Cox's now have all the safety equipment and EV specific tools to enable us to take care of your Mini-Hybrid, Hybrid or Electric Vehicle! Sharon Greenwood joined the business as Operations Manager in March 2018. A Deddington girl for over 20 years she is a qualified engineer (Materials R&D) with a good knowledge of car mechanics, however prefers a customer facing role so has spent many years working in roles where she can be soiciable.  Sharon is passionate about delivering great value and service for our customers, and offering deals that appeal for both existing and new customers. As a local garage the majority of our customer are from the local area and are very supportive of us as a small independent business.  Community matters to us, so in the past (and going forward) we have supported/sponsored the Library, The Deddington Car Festival and local sports teams and can usually find a Raffle Prize for a Deddington fund raiser. Our team may be small but we believe our combined expertise, passion for our work, and the friendly service we deliver makes us the first choice for your workshop/mechanical needs in the OX15 area. We are proud to sponsor 'Deddington Car Fest' a charity fundraising passenger ride event held as part of the Deddington Festival. The event, now heading into its 4th year, raised over £2000 for the two chosen charities in 2019. We are now looking forward to the 2020 Carfest visit Deddycarfest.co.uk for the latest news! Each year Deddington library creates and sells the 'Deddington Parish' Calendar to raise much needed funds. The inital costs of printing are covered by the sponsors and Cox's are pleased to have been able to be part of this since its inception and hope to continue our support for many years to come. The latest 2020 calendar is available to buy at the Farmers Market, The Libray and also at Nellie & Dove. Cox  Racing is a karting team made up of Paul's two nephews - Ben and Ashton. The boys have been karting for a few years and have recently upgraded, this year the will both be racing in the Junior TKM Series. The season so far is going well and you can follow the team on Facebook at RacingCox and on Instagram @cox_racing Cox's Garage are happy to host a collecting tin for the Volunteer Driver service.  We often do little jobs Free of Charge and refuse payment so get asked if we have a charity tin - we do now and it's great to be able to support this wonderful service through via the kindness of our customers! The volunteer driver service helps clients get to medical and social appointments, providing friendly and affordable transport for those unable to access public transport for any reason. Anyone in the Cherwell district can use the service, young or old. At Cox's we don't only want to keep your car on the road, we want to make sure it stays that way. Preventitive Maintenance is an important part of this so we are pleased to offer a regular FREE vehicle health check service at 'Cox's Car Clinic'. Hello Coxs garage is based in Deddington, Oxfordshire. I have been at this garage for about 5 years and in that time I have gained a lot of customers and they have now become my friends. It is a friendly and welcoming garage.

Paul was a great help getting me through an mot on an old car. He welded my door on for a tenth of the cost I was quoted by another garage. Understanding that I was on a limited budget he gave me honest advice and teaching about how I could fix most of the cars issues by myself, probably saving me upwards of £100 rather than charging me for a jobs he knew I could do myself. Very honest and friendly garage, thank you very much!
