Friendly staff, good honest food at reasonable prices. 2022 now and I'm pleased to say this welcoming pub is still as good as I said in 2018. Staff are really good and friendly and our latest waitress, Meg, was super.

Had Sunday Roast, massive portion and very tasty. Excellent Value on the whole Menu Card. The Hostess found us a table although we hadn't booked. Only observation was the venue was tired and dated but will come back again.

We asked For a kid starter For a reason and was charged for an adult starter. The Starter was cold and soggy. 2 minutes after the starer came out Whist Trying to eat the food Our main meal Came and We felt very rushed . We then said we weren't ready for the main meal as we had only just started our starter she said she can put it under the lamp. So when the main meal came out the food was cold. Chips were horrible. Just did not taste nice at all. I complained to the waitress she did not even say sorry just looked at us. When she left she rolled her eyes up at us. Would not go there for food again. There customer service of the waitress was awful.

Good food . Pleasant staff. Have been using this pub for years. Unfortunately on my last visit I had a sizzling half chicken which was freezing cold inside. Not sure if they have a new chef.

What a lovely, warm, welcoming place to visit. I was originally going to visit a different Hungry Horse pub but sat nav got confused and am glad it did as led me here. Nothing was too much trouble, very helpful and accommodating to my disability. Now, the main course. Oh my god, it was probably one of the best Mixed Grills I can remember for such a long time. Everything cooked beautifully, nicely presented and came out quite quickly. And the dessert (chocolate browny) was a very decent portion. Was so nice I almost ordered another but thought I'd put my waistline through enough for one evening. Will definitely return when back in the area. I recommend this for everyone. There are quiet areas, family areas including garden, pool tables etc and ample parking. Thank you guys and gals for a lovely evening. See you soon
