Frustrating experience at Curry’s Workington… Received money for Christmas and anniversary and wanted to buy a bean to cup coffee machine. Simple transaction, I hand the cash over, they hand the goods over. Found a well priced one that we liked (positive) then went to pay. Was told by a really nice gent (positive) that I was legally obligated to listen to the after sales care (insurance) packages, even though I had already observed these online and said I was ok, I just wanted the coffee machine. So I lost a minute of my life here (negative) as seemingly HAD to be told this, legally… not sure this is a legal obligation. I was then asked for personal details which, if avoidable, I prefer to keep private. However, was told I HAD to give my name, email and address for the benefit of the warranty. I said this wasn’t required as I would keep the receipt, but was told, again, that I HAD to hand this info over (another negative). Forceful sales tactics and unnecessary information gleaning let this place down. Great coffee maker though.

Only came in for a wander around after visiting pets at home next door and it was only until I spotted the printers on show that I remembered an item I needed to send back to amazon to a third party seller and I needed to print out a returns label and I first came across Rebecca who was really friendly and I asked if she could help me get a print out for this one item I need to return and said she would just ask her manager if it was possible for her to print the label off for me of which I explained to Nicola (acting manager for that day) and she said she would but we did come across plenty of problems during the sending via Bluetooth and even email until she finally decided to take a photo of the screen shot I had on my phone, this lady was not being beaten by these few awkward setbacks and continued until I got the printout A4 size, I never purchased a thing but yet they went above and beyond in helping me out!. I really can't thank them enough for their help that afternoon and would be making this my go to store if I ever need anything in the near future. Plenty of parking and disabled parking right opposite the entrance as seen in my photos.
