Custom Upholstery is a family business, based in Nottingham with over 20 years’ experience. We specialise in meeting the upholstery and curtain requirements of both the domestic and commercial sectors, with all aspects of upholstery undertaken. We offer a free design and consultancy service for made to measure curtains, blinds, soft furnishings, custom made sofas, settees and chairs. We also offer a large selection of designer fabrics and pattern books to give you a unique, in house design experience for your home.
Whether it’s an individual room, part of a full interior design or a substantial refurbishment project, our experience in working with curtains, upholstery and soft furnishings will help to produce outstanding work, with results that speak for themselves.
We also provide a range of upholstery services including re-upholstering sofas, settees, dining chairs, antique furniture, seat cushions and leather repair for domestic and commercial customers.

Michael Hibbert5 StarI have just had cushions made by these guys, what lovely people they are. I requested nice deep comfortable cushions and that’s exactly what I got, all perfectly made and fitting absolutely perfect to measurements I’d provided.
I had shopped around for a while looking for cushions but gave up , I then came across custom upholstery when looking for upholstery companies.

Michael Gladwell5 StarFriendy team took us through upholstery choice for our 3 piece suite which was in need of TLC.
Samples bought to the house and left for our decision but helpful guidance given.
Suite taken away on schedule and delivered,again by appointment, couple of weeks later.
Excellent workmanship - we delighted and given firm instructions to our cat to keep off !!.
Cushions on the suite were replaced as were scatter cushions in contrasting material.

Claire Whiteside2 StarNice guy who runs the company but terrible customer service and poor communication. Had to repeatedly chase for updates. Once fitted, blinds needed amending as were made incorrectly. Was such a shame as we were so happy with initial consultation and delivery times quote. Eventually did agree a discount for the significant delay and errors.Tuesday 25th June 2019
