D&M were amazing, from the fully professional quote the the quality of the service, we were very impressed. Hired them to knock down a wall in my victorian terrace Once the job started Darren and his team, encountered a few issues with the job (old victorian house) but nothing was too much of an issue for them, and they carried on and finished the work to a high standard, right down to small details. They even did extra things like raising the skirting boards in adjoining room so they would match (not something that would of crossed my mind until they pointed it out) The plaster finish they left is of a very high standard, and tucks right up against the original coving.

Darren and his team did an excellent job of my single storey rear extension. We came up against issues almost immediately on site as we found out the soil was unsuitable for a standard foundations. He managed to source an engineer and get it sorted in less than 24 hours and cracked on with the work. It was great to have an experienced builder who can handle situations like that quickly and easily. The workmanship is brilliant, they managed to match in the brick detailing which was one of my main concerns and the internal finish was to a high standard. I have to say the most impressive thing was that Darren and his team were constantly in contact with my neighbour and kept their garden area clean and tidy. I was nervous about annoying them with the building work but they were well looked after and I truly appreciate that. 5* would highly recommend.

Darren and his team were thoroughly professional throughout and the work was completed to schedule and was top quality. They were exceptionally considerate to our neighbours also, keeping mouse and disruption to a minimum. I would thoroughly recommend them.

Work was contracted to take one week, however took 8 weeks leaving us without a kitchen for that time and a baby on the way. This delay was not communicated, leaving us in the dark for most of this time. We constantly had to chase for updates. Turned up late and on the wrong days, on one occasion gaining access to the property without our knowledge and chiselling bricks from the wall without our permission. When we tried negotiating the price due to the lateness became argumentative and threatening. We have reported to both Federation of Master Builders and Derby Trusted Traders.
