David Musson Fencing Ltd is a family run business founded in 1982 to supply fencing materials to the local area. David set up the enterprise to generate additional income to his farming business. Gradually the fencing business increased in size to become David’s sole occupation.
Today we employ over 25 people, including David’s two sons at our site near Melton Mowbray. We stock a large range of fencing, gates and landscaping timbers supplying the general public, farmers, councils and equestrian centres. We also have a well stocked shop selling fencing hardware, tools and workwear.
All products we carry in stock are now available to view and purchase via our online shop.
As a family run company, we always strive to give a good service to our customers, with quality products at very competitive prices. With many years of experience in the fencing industry, our staff will be happy to help with any queries.

Helen Swingler5 StarWe have been buying wood from David Musson’s for a few years now and is our absolute go to place for wood. Their products are first class and fairly priced…. And their stock levels are always great. Now to the important bit….. every single member of the David Musson team are fantastic, it’s doesn’t matter if your order is a big one for delivery or you nip to the yard for a single fence post, you are always greeted with the same friendly team of people who are always happy to help. Just this week I asked for a quote on a Sunday evening late on by email. My email was answered swiftly Monday morning, the order was booked in and paid for by lunchtime and delivered by 9am on the Wednesday not forgetting the lovely driver rang me to tell me his ETA and then stacked the wood conveniently for my mother in law ensuring it wasn’t in her way! Individuals making deliveries could not have been more courteous or helpful and the products are exactly as described and competitively priced when compared with like quality.
I am just a domestic size purchaser, no huge orders involved but the service from website order to delivery was both excellent and "human".
I cannot fault the company or products and highly recommend anyone needing fencing products to use them with confidence.Monday 7th February 2022
