With so many choices for Indian in the area, it can be hard to pick a stand out. What helps Delhi junction nudge ahead for me is the rich flavour regular dishes and the unique style of its Tak-a-Tak dishes that add something a little different. All in all you can’t go wrong and you’ll leave with your taste buds having had a proper work out.

Came here after seeing plenty of good reviews. Unfortunately my experience was disappointing. Took a while to get service. Limited selection of pickles and chutneys and were the thin runny type. No lime pickle and not much depth to and of them. Tikka masala was edible but the sauce wasn't very thick, coconutty, and was very mild. For some reason the peshwari naan had cashew nuts and glazed red cherries (not mentioned on the menu)! No raisins or sultanas though. When raised this with the staff they just laughed. Portion sizes good and decor nice. Shame about the flavours.

Good food. Like most Indian restaurants now, the price is getting high considering the ingredients and ease of running the kitchen (I get staffing any hospitality business can be challenging). Poppadoms, 4 entrees, no alcohol, no deserts - 90 pounds with the included 12.5% service charge (service was fine). Food was good, not great - my reference dish I have used for more than 20 years to judge Indian restaurants (and which an Indian friend has helped me properly understand the nuances of) was overly spiced, and also not cooked long enough in the oven to produce the appropriate dryness to the dish. It was fine, just not as aromatic, flavorsome and dry as it should be.

One of the best and most authentic Indian restaurants in Maidenhead, London, and nearby! Furthermore, their consistency of taste is impeccable. We love getting our favorites again and again, and they have the same taste as before.

Please thank your chefs for me. We just had one of the best indian foods, very authentic. 10 years we live in Maidenhead and this was the best so far. My husband was very impressed by lamb byriani in particular - so light, fluffy and full of flavour along the most tender lamb. Just wow. All other dishes were just as good - full of unique flavour. Till next time!
