It's easy to check the surf and then change and walk down to the beach for surfing or a day on the beach. Prices start from £60 for a twin room.
Sandy Hollow offers a warm and friendly welcome all year round and is the ideal central location for people who want to explore the fantastic beaches of Croyde, Putsborough, Saunton and Woolacombe or the beautiful surrounding countryside. Nate Bucholz5 StarGreat surf lodge. Nice back garden with space to relax, sort and store your kit...and you can walk straight down to the beach! Also close and walkable to village. Dessy is a great host and with some 40 years surfing experience, happy to offer advice. Great breakfast as well.Monday 5th August 2013
Alex Rose5 StarLovely little B&B. 5-minute walk into town, 10-minute walk through the sand dunes down to the cracking surfing beach at Croyde. We recommend the full English to fuel you up for a day on the waves!Monday 5th August 2013
Michael Wicks5 StarWonderful little BnB, operated by a lovely man called 'Dessy', a true character. The facilities are good, there is a nice garden area, storage space, a _fantastic_ breakfast and it's only a short walk from town (for a night out), from the local surf shop (for hire) and from the beach. Very much recommended.Monday 5th August 2013
Sam Gregory5 StarStayed a couple of nights with Dessy on a mates surf trip last weekend. The accommodation was great, really clean and comfortable, and Dessy did a decent quality cooked breakfast which set us up perfectly for a 2 hour tussle with the waves. Best bit about the accommodation and location is the big back garden which can be used to store surf gear and wash stuff off, this then backs onto a private road which offers a short ten minute walk down to Croyde Beach. Dessy himself is a gentleman, and a bit of a character, he comes with plenty of surf advice and some serious medical training should you require it. Would definitely stay again.Monday 5th August 2013
