It's such a lovely place! I do my nails there, but they are offering more services like eyebrows and waxing. Highly recommended.

This was my third visit, and unfortunately I will not be returning. After she filed my nails I asked her to reshape them as I asked for rounded nails and just to make them slightly shorter than they were. She said something about how soaking the nails in water messes with the shape so she will file after applying the gel . However even after she filed my nails after the gel application they all looked pretty bad and none of them were round. And my nails are now much shorter than I wanted. Some were oval with odd corners. And most of my nails have these tiny bubbles that I can't pick up on camera. I'd also like to note that not once did she check if my nails matched eachother, like the left pinky nail and right pinky nail, and so on. Because she filed my nails after applying the gel, they now have an open edge. Nice girls, but not professional and no attention to detail.

Had my eyebrows threaded here for £8 walk-in appointment. Really happy with the result, very professional, quick and I didn’t realise that threading could be this painless! Please note paying by card is only over £10 so take cash if you are only getting your eyebrows threaded 👍🏼

I cannot rate this salon enough. I painted my own gel nails for my wedding, then broke one setting up my venue the evening before. I called up Dovecote in a panic, they arranged me a emergency next day appointment, at 10:50 i arrived. By 11:20 i had a seamless replacement, with matching the polish. She also tided up the grit and scuffs in my home job manicure. All for £5. I couldn’t be more grateful. These ladies were so charming and professional. They truly saved my day.

I wouldn’t go anywhere else in Guildford! I’ve been using Dovecote to have my waxing & threading treatments done for nearly a year now and I can’t recommend Sara enough. I used to dread intimate waxing due to previous experiences with other waxers but Sara’s techniques are pain-free and she doesn’t miss a spot! I am going on holiday this week so I also had a gel manicure & pedicure. Amy & Shania we’re fantastic and my nails look great! Thank you all for getting me holiday ready!
