Colin Williams5 StarDavid is a brilliant coach & trainer, I started training in a very unfit state after being of action for a long time due to an old injury.
I have now been training with him for some time and can see and feel the benefits.
He runs his Gym in a different way to most others, I feel like I get a very individual and tailored service even though I train in a small group.
As with all training you get out of it what you put in and David helps everyone to give the most they can.Thursday 20th May 2021
Andrew5 StarI started a 10 week intensive source with Dave Thrower Fitness 10 weeks ago with the aim of losing weight and getting fit.
I'd done no exercise since the covid lock down and had put on weight. Walking was pretty tiring and I felt really out of shape.
I was attending sessions with Dan (Tuesdays) and Kate (Thursdays) and found the first few bloody tough to be honest. However the exercises that Dan & Kate had us doing really started to produce results.
I found that I was recovering from the exercises quicker each session and my heart rate had dropped from its initially shocked high rate to a more reasonable level. My muscles started to develop and even grow and my waistline was getting lower in circumference.
Now, after 10 weeks with a few missed sessions it must be said, I'm actually 10Kg lighter and feel so much better - fitter, agile and more alive.
I've decided to sign up for a further 10 weeks to keep these good things going and am doing other exercise in addition to the sessions - including my own garden circuits.
All in all a major change for the better for me.

Jonathan Moss5 StarTraining with Dave has been, and continues to be, fantastic! His energy and enthusiasm is infectious and makes you want to work hard and push yourself! I joined up 8 weeks ago on the 3x a week "Build 'n' Burn" plan and have lost 7kg and 5% body fat through 3 training sessions a week and just some sensible eating - no crazy diets, just a sustainable and sensible approach! The group training aspect is great fun and encouragement from others is hugely supportive! Dave is always on hand for support also and his recipe books and nutrition guide are great! This is not an intimidating experience like many gyms can be, just a high energy and fun environment in which to train! He lives the phrase "No judgement, just encouragement!" Try this training program, for the 8 week course and see how much stronger and happier you will feel.
