Duende IN 2021

As with everyone else on the planet, Covid-19 has changed our plans. Please take care everyone, and we hope to see you again in the restaurant at some point on the other side. Thank you to the all the guests that visited Duende over the last two years, and the suppliers and helpers that we’ve met along the way.

IN THE MEANTIME, DURING THE PANDEMIC

Duende isn’t able to reopen fully in the current circumstances. So in between occasional tasting menu events in the restaurant, and private chef bookings, Duende will offer ‘Duende at home’ menus.

We’ll post new menus on the Facebook page and to the mailing list. All are meals that you can easily heat through at home in a conventional oven.

In order to maintain social distancing, and reduce areas of contact, please order by email, pay via bank transfer, and we’ll give you a pick up time. Come at your agreed time slot, the door will be open, and your order will be ready at a table at the front of the restaurant.

Ring the bell and we’ll be on hand to answer any questions (from a safe distance at the back of the restaurant.)

DUENDE PRIVATE EVENTS

Chef Tim Zekki can cook for you and friends or family to create a fantastic tasting menu of 5 or 7 courses, with an optional wine flight. Either at your home or in your holiday accommodation.

Duende can also cater for much larger events, such as the recent event at William Sitwell’s Supper Club. The the menu featured local Longhorn beef, from Westcott Organics, served to 70 guests.
