Following such a tremendously difficult 18 months for all of our students we are delighted that their dedication, resilience and hard-work has paid off with a superb set of results.

As you are no doubt aware, external exams were replaced this year with a series of rigorous internal assessments with resulting grades moderated against a national standard and approved and awarded by the exam boards. Once again, our post-16 results in both A-Level and the Vocational Technical qualifications, demonstrate excellent progress from our students. I speak for our whole school community when I congratulate each and every one of them on their achievements and I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the staff who this year, took on a significant level of responsibility that would ordinarily be handled by the national exam boards. The intense pressure that both students and staff have had to work under in recent months has all been worthwhile when we look at the students who are now able to move forward to the destination of their choice thanks to their sheer determination to succeed.

The government is not publishing performance data for any schools or colleges this year due to the varying impact of the pandemic.

This school needs to improve. It can't control its students from activating the fire alarm. The headteacher paints this as a good school when we all know it not really the truth. I not saying that it is the headteacher's fault for the things above but what she has done is put this 10 minute briefing every day which has sparked frustration amongst the students at this school. Update: The students who had been doing the fire alarms have appear to have stop setting the fire alarm for a bit. I still think that this school deserves one star as the lunch time queue is still long especially with kids constantly pushing in. This should sort of be addressed with the 2 new serving points and 50 minute lunch that’s coming September. Students in this school still act 'gangsterous' which can be clearly seen with a number of walls and ceiling tiles broken.

I go there and honestly it's not great there is hardly any control over most students I don't learn a lot but some teachers are there for me which is a relief.

You can easily get bullied sometimes but other than that the food is nice and you can get great friends even from other years. I understand that you can’t sort all bully’s out. I also understand because your busy a lot.
